UCC slates e-commerce conference

The Uniform CodeCouncil will hold its annual Electronic Commerce Users Conference May 24-26, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. The conference will focus on how companies can utilize the latest strategies, technologies, and logistics to effectively implement and manage their electronic commerce efforts.The conference will feature over 40 educational sessions. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading e-commerce industry experts from the retailing, manufacturing, and technology industries. Conference highlights will include:
- The role and business impact of electronic data interchange (EDI) over the Internet
- An analysis of Web-based forms to facilitate procurement, shipment tracking, and return goods management
- Detailed discussions of emerging e-commerce technologies such as voice and video over the net and two-dimensional bar codes
- How to use e-commerce to enhance customer service and improve customer loyalty
