NA2000 to feature airplane show

This year's North American Material Handling Show and Forum (NA2000) will feature The Boeing Company for a case study on Monday, April 10 at 10:15 a.m.Diamond Phoenix Corp. and Catalyst International will accompany Boeing for the case study on the warehouse modernization project for Boeing's C-17 Globemaster III production facilities. The most advanced, most versatile airlifter in production today, the C-17 is part of Boeing airlift and tanker programs, a unit of Boeing military aircraft and missile systems.
The warehouse modernization seminar will illustrate how Boeing's use of materials handling system technologies achieves accurate, real-time control of parts throughout the manufacturing process, and reduces time to deliver both planned and unplanned production requirements. Boeing was also able to reduce 56,000 sq. ft. of needed warehouse space for the more than 800 suppliers who contribute parts to the C-17.
NA2000 will be held April 10-13, 2000 at Detroit, Michigan's Cobo Hall.
