Protect rack uprights

Attaching to rack columns in just seconds, the Rack Sentry reduces collision damage by lift trucks to pallet rack systems. The bright yellow rack guard, made of molded plastic, attaches with heavy-duty Velcro fasteners, eliminating the need for tools. Once in place, the guard's air-cushion system absorbs collision impact, returning to shape after every collision. The product can be mounted either above or below rack shelving and is available in a standard 18 in. height to fit typical 3 by 3 in. rack columns.

Shelves with power

Powered roll-out shelves feature a capacity of up to 40,000 lb/shelf. The units eliminate the need for wide aisles required for forklifts. Using the shelves with an overhead crane allows for a 50% gain of floor space while it also eliminates steps when handling materials. It is simple to roll out a shelf, pick up the needed item with the overhead crane, and move it directly to the work area. Shelf sizes are up to 480 in. wide and 96 in. deep.

Print labels right on cartons

The Icon-224 label printer features a print area of 2 in. high by 24 in. long. It prints both bar codes and human readable text directly on filled cases at speeds up to 200 ft/min. The printer can be mounted on either side of a conveyor and can apply bar codes anywhere on filled and sealed cases. It can also be used with ink jet equipment. The ink jet system applies human readable text and the printer applies the bar code.

Java computer for corporate and personal use

The DS1978B Java-powered iButton on a 2-in-1 fob acts as a key for touch-and-go access to buildings and for secure computer network log-on. It is wearable and provides extensive storage for safekeeping all the credentials of an individual. The iButton has 64 kbyte ROM and 134 kbyte RAM. Indexing drive packages

Available in 230 volt single- and three-phase models, an electronic indexing drive package for conveyors consists of low inertia gearmotor and variable frequency drive controller with variable acceleration and deceleration. The package provides belt indexing at rates to 60 cycles/min for a broad range of packaging, automated and manual assembly applications. It includes a modular controller that can accommodate photoeyes, programmable logic controllers, PC connections, and other accessories. Electronic controls reduce maintenance costs while they provide reliable operation without the need for a clutch brake. Guard rail that can take direct hits

Hand truck eases movement

Palletizing/depalletizing robot

A dual gantry robot depalletizes empty containers and palletizes filled containers. Powerful servomotors allow for cycle times of less than 6 sec. The robot not only loads and unloads pallets, but it can stack and destack empty pallets and slip sheets. A unique design feature is the pallet handling arrangement achieved by telescoping the two x-axis linear drives. When the depalletizer completes the unloading of a pallet, it places the empty pallet in the middle bay. Then when the palletizer needs a pallet for loading, it picks it up from the middle bay and places it on its loading station.

Print labels in harsh environments

A line of industrial label printer/applicators now offers three levels of enclosure to protect the unit from dust, debris, moisture, and below freezing temperatures. The dust enclosure adds an extra layer of protection with two large hinged doors for easy access and a clear window for quick inspection of label and/or ribbon stock. Moisture protection is offered with the washdown enclosure that fully encapsulates the printer-applicator. The extreme temperature enclosure is a double-walled, insulated unit with an external temperature display. It can withstand temperatures down to -29 degrees Celsius (20 deg F).

Reduce bending and reaching

Never been simpler

The EX Retrofit Carryway system provides the benefits of roller retrofit in no time. It is a section of a 1.5 in. wide by 60 in. long by 0.375 in. thick UHMW wearstrip attached to a composite, polypropylene housing. No tools are required for installation. The unit snaps directly on to existing 1.9 in. or 50 mm diameter rollers without modification to the rollers or the conveyor itself.
