Dimensioning equipment

The CS5200 uses parallel infrared laser rangefinder technology (PILAR) to accurately dimension all objects regardless of shape. The technology prevents shadowing and blind spots while providing accurate dimensions for both cuboidal and non-cuboidal objects. As an object moves down the conveyor belt, all sides of the object can be seen. The unit dimensions multiple objects that are actually touching one another on the conveyor belt. The unit can be mounted over existing conveyors, and provides accurate measurements for objects moving at rates up to 600 feet/minunte.

Conveyor sensor

The Cutler-Hammer E68 series integral sensor is suited for use on zero pressure accumulation conveyors. It combines all components into one device and the air-valve is within the sensor. Connections between sensors in different conveyor zones are also included, eliminating the need to run additional wiring. The wiring and sensors are designed for sub-4A 24VDC wiring for safety and reduced installation costs.
