By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 2/1/2001
Next month at Chicago's McCormick Place, the trends and shifts of the manufacturing industry over the past year will be addressed at National Manufacturing Week (NMW). The event will occur March 5-8, and is the marketplace for buyers and sellers of products, services, and technologies that support and integrate all the functions and activities of the manufacturing process.
NMW is traditionally host to four shows: National Industrial Enterprise IT, National Industrial Automation, National Design Engineering, and National Plant Engineering MRO & Management.
With more than 2,000 exhibitors and more than 20 special pavilions and halls in 575,000 sq ft of space, the event will attract over 50,000 industry professionals.
A cross-functional conference program, taking place March 5-6, will address key industry issues and trends from every corner of manufacturing. Topics include e-commerce, cost-cutting measures, productivity, integration, and quality issues.
