Maximize crane flexibility

The compact Crane Commander ES (CCES) adjustable frequency crane control offers a unique combination of size, horsepower, and operational features that maximize performance, ease of use, and safety. Designed for performance flexibility, the CCES can support a wide range of lighter capacity traverse and hoisting applications.

It is available in 1/4 to 3 hp at 230V and 1 to 3 hp at 460V for standard crane and hoist applications, as well as 110V input/230V, three-phase output model in 1/4 or 1/2 hp for special applications. With a 40:1 speed range for traverse motions and a 20:1 speed range for hoisting, it is equipped with a 2:1 top-to-base speed ratio to provide increased operating range. Programmable speed control methods include up to three distinct speeds, two-step infinitely variable, three-step infinitely variable, 0-10VDC and 4-20mA analog input.

Resists drops and daily wear

Designed to provide operators with easy-to-use, durable, hand-held control, the Metal Keypad (MK) controller withstands the daily rigors of operating heavy equipment. The controller's main housing is made from extruded aluminum while rubber end-caps protect its operating switches, allowing resistance to numerous drops. It features large, tactile-feel push-buttons that are coated with clear epoxy for better endurance. The controller incorporates the I-Key, a color-coded, stainless steel, removable, electronic key that is required for controller operation. It offers very long operating times of up to 150 hours and an operating range exceeding 500 ft. Two models are available: single pressure with 4, 8, or 12 functions, and dual pressure with 6, 12, or 16 functions.

No more failure from moisture

The tetherless design of a 16 function, digital radio transmitter provides complete isolation between the user and the device being controlled. A heavy-duty sealed switch and sealed, water-resistant case eliminate failures due to moisture. The internal transmitter antenna eliminates antenna breakage. Using one 9V alkaline, nicad, or lithium battery, the system includes a belt clip to allow users to keep their hands free while carrying the controller.

Control cranes at 330 ft

The FRD-1201U is a small, industrial radio control system that provides remote control at ranges of 330 ft. Applications include telescopic and articulating boom cranes and lifts as well as overhead/bridge cranes.

The transmitter and receiver utilize microprocessors for intelligence and surface mount technology to minimize size. Channel Watch search and select technology, a 16-bit identification code, and 40 synthesized channels give the system superior reliability and immunity to false activation from radio frequency interference. It also allows multiple systems to be operated independently in the same area. Advanced power saving features extend the battery life to more than several months of typical use.
