Storage racks

Offered in a range of sizes and capacities for medium and heavy-duty service, a line of cantilever rack systems provides easy access for storing or retrieving heavy, long loads. The racks, designed from structural steel components and I-beam load support arms fastened to the column by 4 bolts, are ideal for storing items such as pipes, bars, poles, lumber, and other irregularly shaped items. Arms can be adjusted vertically on 4 in. centers, and are available in various angles of incline for load retention. Arm load capacities range from 14,000 lb. to 190,000 lb. load capacities.

Portable stacking for long items

Portable stacking racks, 32 in. wide by 40 in. long, and 14 in. high, have open ends to accommodate long items like bar stock, angle, tubing, and pipe. The wire mesh design allows for visibility, inventory control, and cleaning while stacking caps interlock for safety. Racks can be furnished with 4 in. casters for easy movement around the warehouse or shop floor. Special sizes can be manufactured to suit individual needs. Racks stacked four high can carry a load of 16,000 lbs. without casters and 4,000 lbs. with casters.

Racks with 4,000 lb capacity

Portable racks feature a 4,000 lb. capacity rating and are available with or without wood board decks, in three base sizes, and two post heights. Four removable corner posts allow safe stacking as high as four or more levels. From high-density to high-selective configurations, the racks are easy to set up and change. The racks are engineered to protect loads during handling, stacking, and shipping.

Versatile storage systems

Designed to store items of varying sizes, shapes, and weights, a high-density adjustable racking system saves floor space by taking advantage of typically wasted vertical space. It features movable pallets that meet the changing specifications of the user. The pallets each have a weight capacity of 2,000 lbs. and are reinforced with double-layer steel surfaces. Roll-formed racking provides double strength rest hooks. Pallet fork guides extend the length of the pallet, providing additional structural support. Optional features are a wire basket, tub kit, tool holder pallets, top shelves, and safety mesh. Standard height of the racking system is 152 in., but units may be ordered in sizes ranging from 82 in. to 190 in. high.

Make full use of floor and vertical space

A line of heavy-duty, tear-drop style pallet racks allow full use of floor and vertical space. The easy-to-install racks feature upright capacities available from 18,000 to 34,000 lbs., and one pair of load beams per level. The beams are constructed from 16- or 14- gauge high-strength steel, depending upon size and capacity, and finished with a durable polyurethane coating. The racks also have safety load locks to help prevent dislodgment.

Flow rack streamlines picking

An adjustable flow rack is designed for point of use parts storage and simplified order picking. Providing a systematic approach for parts storage and retrieval, the gravity flow rack streamlines operations by eliminating wasteful stock room part exchanges. Complete component modularity allows for quick easy custom set-ups and changes. Rack components consist of tubing, fittings, and roller rack assemblies. Standard tube lengths are available in single foot increments up to 3 meters. A variety of customized options are available, including color coding, tubing with measurement markings, and choice of roller wheel style.

Steel rack decking

Corrugated steel decking is useful for racks, mezzanines, and shelving. The strong, durable, low maintenance decking is available in common and custom-engineered sizes. It allows smooth, easy sliding of materials and is available in painted, galvanized, and stainless steel as either solid or perforated panels. The rack decking meets Factory Mutual and National Fire Protection Association fire codes, with or without water drain holes.

Storage system optimizes space

Combining high-density storage with sanitary, corrosion-free shelving conditions, an overhead track polymer storage system allows users to optimize their storage capacity in a confined space using these overhead track systems. The overhead track is available in lengths ranging from 6 ft. to 21 ft. The system also features polymer shelf sections with either clear epoxy zinc plated mild steel or 16 gauge type 304 stainless steel posts. Adjustable and removable intermediate shelf sections are available in sold or louvered styles, both styles offering their high-strength polymer composition. Lifestor MasterTrak systems are available in a wide range of standard sizes and configurations, making it easy to devise the optimum storage and shelving solution for a confined space.

Economical, durable decking is versatile

Durable, strong wire mesh rack decking is available in standard sizes or can be customized to unique order specifications. The configuration of the maintenance-free, safe, and economical decking allows for easy viewing of inventory, while preventing stored goods from falling through the wire mesh.

The decking is easily installed in new storage situations, but its versatility allows for simple integration with existing rack systems. It is available in a range of configurations to meet a variety of applications.

Type A decking is designed for racks with step beam shelf construction. Type B is designed for box-beam/ structural-beam configurations while type F is fabricated without channels. Standard dimensions include depths of 36 in., 42 in., or 48 in., and widths of 46 in., 52 in., or 58 in.

Access stored items easily with pallet rack

A structural pallet rack that provides 100% accessibility to all stored items utilizes hot-rolled structural steel channels for uprights and beams. Precise beam-to-beam bolted connections provide a strong, rigid storage structure that is easy to install and repair. The rack is made from structural steel channel-bolted or slotted connections. The bolted connection model is vertically adjustable on 2 in. centers, and features a standard heavy-duty lower horizontal brace, a large foot plate with pre-drilled lagging holes, and a standard welded foot protector. The slotted connection model is vertically adjustable on 4 in. centers, easy to install clip lock beams in place, and high strength steel hooks engage slots.

The double column feature is a special rack damage control design. The extra durable design provides resistance to impact damage, as well as rack failure and collapse.

Protect against damage with pallet racks

Offering extra-thick metal protection, Tier boltless structural steel pallet racks naturally resist corner and side impact damage. Structural channel columns and load beams are strongest in the corners and sides where more steel is concentrated. The shape is extremely resistant to impacts and is not vulnerable to flexing, twisting, or bending. Uprights in two post widths, beams in three load levels groups, and a variety of accessories are available. The boltless beam connection allows for easy adjustment, quick assembly, flexibility, and low maintenance. Structural beams are used when heavy load carrying capacity is needed while step beams provide selectivity in conjunction with wood decking. Standard capacities are 31,000 to 68,000 lbs./upright. Higher capacities are available.

Protect those racks

A new rack protector is suited to lighter traffic areas such as warehouses, bulk storage lockers, shelving units, and mesh partitions in a warehouse or industrial environment. Supplied in safety yellow, it provides high visibility and is easy to install. Extension angles, which can be cut at the job site, allow for customized application.
