Long Reach acquires Lee Engineering

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 8/1/2000

Long Reach Holding, Inc., a subsidiary of TBM Holdings, has completed the acquisition of Lee Engineering Co. from United Dominion Industries. This move will allow Long Reach Holdings to combine the strengths of its Rol-Lift line with the extensive Presto product lines from Lee Engineering in a new division to be renamed Presto Lifts, Inc.

Over the next 2 years, Presto Lifts will invest in product development activity to extend and update pallet truck and power stacker lines.

"Our sales and marketing team will be working hard to combine these two powerful brands and provide customers with creative materials handling solutions," says Bill Sample, president and CEO of Long Reach Holdings.
