ECM market to reach $264 billion by 2005
Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 8/1/2001
The enterprise commerce management (ECM) market, also known as the enterprise software market, will survive the current economic slump and top $264 billion by 2005. More than a third of this revenue will be driven by the applications segment.
These results are based on a survey of more than 900 software vendors in these application segments: enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM), customer management (CM), product lifecycle management (PLM), e-procurement, and business-to-business (B2B) commerce platforms. AMR expects this relatively soft market to recover in 2002.
