Get ready for NA 2002
Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 1/1/2002
If you've been to the North American Material Handling and Logistics Show and Conference in past years and are assuming this year will be more of the same, think again: NA 2002 promises to be different from any of the previous shows.
From April 8-11, the doors of Detroit's Cobo Hall will open onto a show floor that for the first time will be structured into four solution-specific sectors: equipment and components for manufacturing and processing solutions, fulfillment and delivery solutions, information technology solutions, and e-commerce fulfillment and delivery solutions.
Close to 30,000 materials handling and logistics professionals are expected to attend this four-day event, sponsored by the Material Handling Industry of America (www.mhia.org). More than 400 exhibitors will display their productivity solutions on the 180,000 square-foot show floor. Technologies to be highlighted at the show will range from materials handling equipment and systems to supply chain software.
