The Industrial Truck Association (ITA) has given its Meritorious Service Award to Robert Rogers, engineering manager at Raymond Corp. until his retirement last year. The award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the ITA (www.indtrk.org) and to the lift truck industry.

As Jim Malvaso, president and CEO of Raymond (www.raymondcorp.com), pointed out during the award presentation, Rogers has been a member of ITA's general engineering committee for 26 years. During that time, he served two terms as chairman and two terms as vice chairman of the group. Rogers has been a member of the B56 standards committee for powered industrial trucks for 20 years, and has been chairman of that group since 2000. He also continues to serve on several international committees on lift truck issues.
