Lockheed Martin (800-942-LMDT, www.LMDTech.com) has formed an alliance with Microlistics, an Australian-based supply chain technology company. Effective immediately, Lockheed Martin will market and implement Microlistics' ISIS warehouse management system (WMS) software in North and South America and Europe.

This alliance is intended to strengthen Lockheed Martin's supply chain systems integration capabilities.

"We think it is valuable for us because the WMS is a piece of technology we didn't have in our system," says Brian Tanton, vice president of material handling and identification solutions, Lockheed Martin.

Meanwhile, Microlistics will be able to build a global distribution system for its WMS and go beyond its current Asia/Pacific market.
