The lift truck attachment product lines of Long Reach, Inc. have been acquired by Allied Systems Co. (www.alliedsystems.com), a supplier of specialized materials handling equipment from winches to marine cranes. Products now being made by Allied at its Portland, Ore. facilities include side shifters, paper roll, carton and lateral clamps, fork positioners, rotators, push pulls, pallet handlers and special attachments. "Allied intends to continue distributing the products under the Long Reach brand name and through the existing Long Reach dealers," said Bill Chan senior vice president of Allied.
