Intelligent lifting arm boasts 150-lb capacity

News from ProMat 2003

Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 3/1/2003

A new intelligent lifting arm, known as the G-Force Easy Arm, will be available by the end of June, says Jeff McNeil, marketing manager at Gorbel Inc.. Managing inertia for the operator and low headroom are two main benefits of the 150-pound capacity Easy Arm, notes McNeil. Also, he adds, "it is well suited for applications where workers reach into machines." It is designed for applications that involve work cells with overhead obstructions, rapid change of directions, and reaching around obstructions. Features include: application flexibility, convenience, pinpoint precision in a range of speeds, easy installation, and a simple 4-bolt pattern that allows the unit to be put anywhere.
