In a departure from its traditional consulting services, ESYNC announced several new tools that reduce costs and improve service behind the scenes of various supply chains. Those tools are for facility planning, billing and activity tracking by third-party logistics (3PLs) providers, and a shipping cost recovery system. All four can be purchased from ESYNC either as stand-alone products or as part of a consulting contract, explains John Hill, principal. "We're not getting into the product game," says Hill. "But we are offering tools that will help end users in the areas that we traditionally work in."
