AGV companies form marketing alliance

AGV Products Inc. announced this month that it has formed a marketing alliance with Nuovafima, a

Modena, Italy-based manufacturer of tile-producing equipment. Together, they

will market the Nuovafima line of laser-guided automatic guided vehicles and the

corresponding vehicle control technology platform. Mats Herrstomer, president of

AGV Products, and Sandro Zini, area manager of Nuovafima, demonstrated at ProMat

how operators using the advanced control technology can instantaneously make

revisions to a laser-guided vehicle's paths and destinations with a simple

“click and drag” feature.
