Move 3-ton plus loads

The New Tronics LGV5000 follows laser guidance and uses a PC-based control system. It lifts loads of 6,615 pounds up to 12 feet high. Platform and rollerdeck LGV versions are available for loads up to 35,000 pounds. A clamp is also available for load stabilization. The control system features an offboard PC with full traffic control and a built-in system simulation program.

Fork-style LGV

A fork-style laser guided vehicle offers counterbalanced and reach lift capabilities and handles up to 3,000-pound loads. The LGV uses LaserWay technology and round reflectors to position itself within the system. Round reflectors provide optimum accuracy and flexibility and eliminate false readings. The system's C-Way software also creates a graphical, color-coded view of the system for easy monitoring and identification of the vehicle's location, load, battery status and other conditions.

Design and demonstrate AGV systems

Design, demonstrate and implement an automatic guided vehicle system using Quick Configurable Automation (Q-CAN), a PC software program. Without CAD or software experience, users can easily design non-wire guided path layouts and define system operations. The Q-CAN Designer system demonstration function allows users to test a vehicle's operation on screen and refine its parameters before implementation. Q-CAN supports remote AGV call and dispatch functions and can be easily adapted to changing operational needs.

Automated walkie

Combining automatic and manual operation, the Hybot is a walkie designed to automate long-distance, repetitive travel while allowing for manual pick-up and drop-off of loads. The vehicle features pallet-handling forks, a 4,000-pound lift capacity, an ergonomic manual control arm and an on-board PC for automated travel. Laser guidance technology provides precise, automated travel and allows quick changes to the vehicle's path.

Variable-height load delivery

Suited to stretch wrapping, palletizing, picking and replenishment applications, a laser-guided, unit-load vehicle is designed for variable-height load delivery, allowing for transfers at a low 9-inch elevation. The ergonomic, low-platform vehicle is equipped with a conveyor, which can be easily removed for fork-type applications. Laser safety bumpers provide protection.

Automatic guided carts

Featuring a 3,000-pound towing capacity and a 2,700-pound live load capacity, the SmartCart AGC is a battery-operated cart guided by either on-floor magnetic strip or in-floor wire. Like an AGV system, the SmartCart AGC uses transponder location codes at strategic locations along the guidepath. Carts can be added to accommodate production demands.

Tow up to 35,000 pounds

Operating in either manual or automatic mode, an automatic guided vehicle has a towing capacity of 35,000 pounds and top speed of 200 feet per minute. It is offered with laser and inertial navigation to accommodate a variety of applications ranging from a basic loop with operator dispatch to a fully integrated execution system. Users can input tasks and check maintenance and alarms through an onboard touch screen graphical display unit. Other features include laser-controlled bumpers, off-the-shelf controls and battery-charging functionalities.

AGV handles coils

Carrying up to 40,000 pounds at speeds up to 160 feet per minute, an automatic guided vehicle transports coils from turnstiles to pedestal stands. The electric vehicle with 48-volt DC battery features contactorless drive and lift controls. Depending on the number of vehicles used, the entire system can be operated with or without an off-board host computer. Five laser units provide safe operation in aisles with vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Store up to 17 routing tracks

The Fleximate automatic guided vehicle features an optical guidance system and memory that stores up to 17 routing tracks. Tracks are marked on the floor with stainless steel foil backed by adhesive tape. The compact vehicle - 52.5 x 30 x 28 inches - handles single and multiple loads as heavy as 3,300 pounds at speeds of 2.5 kilometers per hour. Safety features and accessories include a peripheral rubber bumper with kill switches, load sensing hitches, and a trolley battery charger.
