Don't build for Easter

Packaging is one of the most intensive parts of the distribution center, yet is often among the least engineered areas, according to Bill Kuipers, a partner at Spaide, Kuipers & Co. This wastes space on conveyors, in storage systems and on outbound trucks. "Don't build the church for Easter Sunday," he cautions.
