Targeted to the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries, Dorner Manufacturing Corp. recently unveiled its AquaPruf line of sanitary conveyors. Made of stainless steel, the new conveyors can handle frequent high-pressure wash downs using soap and water, bleach, alcohol or chlorine cleaners. They are suitable for both wet and dry applications, especially those where cleanliness is crucial.
The AquaPruf line has the lowest profile of any sanitary conveyors on the market, with an end roller diameter of only 1.25 inches. This new line of conveyors was unveiled at a special press event last month.
The 7200 AquaPruf series is designed for lighter duty with speeds up to 300 feet per minute and accommodates low-pressure washings up to 100 psi. The 7300 series can transport product up to 500 feet per minute and handle high-pressure wash down up to 1,500 psi. Both are available in widths from 2–18 inches, lengths from 2–18 feet and with flat or cleated belts.
