Materials handling manufacturer and integrator Witron has opened a new technology center at its headquarters in Parkstein, Germany. Located in a newly constructed building adjacent to its design and manufacturing facilities, the technology center houses the latest in automated picking technologies. It will be used as a demonstration site and test facility.

Key equipment found in the technology center includes Witron's dynamic picking system, the ergonomic shuttle picking system and the ergonomic dynamic picking system. All of these technologies are highly automated and designed for efficient storage and picking of products within design environments that provide a high degree of ergonomic benefits.
