Ready for RFID?
Determine if radio frequency identification (RFID) technology should be deployed at your facility by taking part in the RFID Readiness Assessment Program. This supply chain execution system tool evaluates the opportunities, constraints, probable costs and implementation methods of incorporating RFID into a company's existing operations. The first step is a pre-assessment questionnaire that profiles the physical environment, processes, systems and trading partner compliance programs. A consultant then performs an on-site analysis and produces a report, which covers operational and systems observations, estimated costs and proposed opportunities for RFID. A recommended action plan for implementing RFID is offered.
