Strap pallets safely

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 5/1/2004

Pallet-strapping can be a tedious and even dangerous activity.

The Pallet Weasel, unveiled by Lambie Entrepreneurial Inc. at NA, offers a solution. At one end, either steel or HDPE strapping is inserted and threaded back through two openings, then held in place by friction.

At the other end, the Pallet Weasel features acme threads suitable for fastening to any broom handle. The threaded tool is inserted through the fork openings at the base of the pallet. Because of the additional length provided by the broom handle, multiple pallets aligned in a row can be threaded together with strapping at the same time.
