Packaging foam provides cushioning

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 5/1/2004

A myriad of new protective packaging products are available from Sealed Air Corp.

Engineered specifically for the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries, Cellu-Pak PB is a polymer-blend material designed for use as a partition pack in returnable or expendable handheld totes.

For companies with moderate packing needs, the company introduced the Instapacker Tabletop foam-in-bag system. This compact system is designed for companies that package between 10 and 50 items a day.

And added to the company's inflatable packaging equipment line is Fill-Air Elite, a compact system that can be incorporated into single or multiple workstations and targeted to mid-size operations.
