Case picking system processes mixed product

Nedcon-DLS now offers an automated, high-speed case picking system designed to handle a wide variety of grocery retail products. The DLS Order Release Module system is capable of processing high volumes of mixed cartons, trays, bags and other containers.

The system incorporates storage lanes of automated flow rack that is both gravity based (on a 4% incline) and belt driven. Special, two-part rollers control the speed of the belt to limit line pressure. The lanes, which can accumulate product up to 38 feet, can be stacked up to seven levels high.
