Productivity challenges distributors

The most significant challenge facing wholesale distributors is operational productivity. That's according to a survey by supply chain software supplier Yantra (www.yantra.com). More than three-quarters of respondents said it was moderately to highly difficult to maximize productivity. To achieve that goal, distributors are working to improve process integration, and rationalizing operations, facilities and IT infrastructure.
