SKEP planning system available in U.S.

The SKEP suite of planning, scheduling and business intelligence modules is now available in the United States, announced Production Modeling Corporation (313-441-4460, www.pmcorp.com).

"SKEP is a comprehensive advanced planning and scheduling product especially tailored for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry," said Toma Dushaj, senior account executive. "It is designed to provide a very affordable but powerful solution that meets the unique needs of CPG manufacturers."

The SKEP suite includes tools for forecasting sales and marketing plans; central planning for multi-site manufacturing and distribution; finite capacity operations master plans; detailed finite capacity scheduling at the work center level; and measurement of supply chain performance. The system also features modules for demand management and purchasing.

Production Modeling is a provider of simulation, modeling and planning software. The company's consultants also simulate, model and design systems for supply chain optimization, material flow analysis and layout optimization techniques in the design of manufacturing systems.
