Global Supply Chain Conference: Your desk, this month
By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 10/1/2004
It's not often that you can get a broad perspective of the supply chain without leaving your office. However, you have exactly that opportunity on October 20th and 21st.
Those are the dates that Modern Materials Handling, Logistics Management, and Supply Chain Management Review will host the free, online Global Supply Chain Conference. During those two days, the three magazines will offer you a look at the big picture of the supply chain as well as a detailed look at logistics and how to optimize operations within the four walls of your plant and warehouse. Keynote speaker for the two-day event is world-renowned consultant Michael Hammer.
The keynote for Modern's track will feature the results of the magazine's groundbreaking survey of industry. Those leading trends in manufacturing, warehousing and distribution will be detailed and discussed by Chris Jones, senior vice president of the Aberdeen Group, and Gary Forger, Modern's editorial director. Also of special note will be a session on what's beyond the RFID mandates.
