Pack Expo lineup set
By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 10/1/2004
Every other year Pack Expo puts on a really big show in Chicago. And that's exactly what's going to happen starting Sunday, November 7th as the show fills McCormick Place. For a preview of the key industrial packaging solutions on display there, see our story that starts on page 45.
Meanwhile, a full conference schedule has been set by the event's sponsor, PMMI. The conferences, which run Nov. 8–10, will prominently feature RFID. Sessions about this technology are scheduled for all three days. Of special note are talks on tagging basics, return on investment, practical applications for the smart label, improving processes and what's ahead for low-cost print/apply systems, to name a few.
Also of interest are sessions on palletizing. One session in particular will highlight off-line simulations and palletizing robot programming. Tips for improving efficiencies is also of note.
