Hill and Nofsinger honored

Two prestigious materials handling industry awards were made by the Material Handling Education Foundation at the recent annual meeting of Material Handling Industry of America (www.mhia.org).
John Hill, principal and board member of consultant ESYNC, received the Reed-Apple Award. It is given to those who have made an extraordinary and extensive contribution to materials handling education and the industry. The award, established in 1981, is in the memory of materials handling educators and innovators, Drs. Ruddell Reed, Jr., and James M. Apple.
John Nofsinger, CEO of Material Handling Industry of America, received the Norman L. Cahners award. The honor is for continued support of the mission of the Material Handling Education Foundation to support and promote education in materials handling. The award, established in 1990, is named for Norman Cahners, an industry pioneer and founder of Modern Materials Handling.
