Getting more connected

'Those companies that understand the relationships between technology, supply chain connectivity and the power of their entire value chain will be winners.' That's according to Charles Johnson of Microsoft.

He made the comments in reference to a survey of operations managers conducted by Microsoft, Capgemini and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Respondents identified the top five investments in supply chain technology (see chart) that will make their operations more connected in 2005.
