WMS: Slow growth and more mergers Two events of interest happened in the supply chain execution market earlier this month.
First, Manhattan Associates, a leading provider of warehouse management (WMS) solutions, released its most recent numbers. While overall revenue was up, Manhattan noted a shift by its customers away from warehouse management applications to its expanded footprint, including transportation and trading partner management.
The second was the announcement that Optum, a veteran provider of warehouse management and supply chain execution solutions, was being acquired by Click Commerce, Inc. in a deal that appears to be worth just under $35 million. ...More>>>
