There's more shakeup in the software segment as RedPrairie has been acquired by Francisco Partners, a tech-focused private equity fund. The move, according to RedPrairie, will enhance the software supplier's capitalization, dedicating more resources to customer results.
RedPrairie company leader John Jazwiec reports that the acquisition will provide the company with increased investment flexibility and the capability to bring products to market more effectively. "This acquisition will expand our opportunities to better leverage RedPrairie's leadership position for accelerated growth, both organically and through further acquisitions," he says.
David Golob, general partner of Francisco Partners, is pleased with the move and believes in RedPrairie's growth potential.
