Data capture pioneers recognized

In recognition of his contributions to the use of automatic identification and mobility solutions, Dr. Gerd Wolfram has been named the 2005 Don Percival Award winner by AIM Global.
Wolfram serves as executive project manager for the large European retailer Metro Group. His expertise led to successful RFID implementations of the technology in the Metro Extra Future store in Germany and the Metro RFID showcase in Spain. Wolfram has been instrumental in facilitating collaboration among competitors in hopes of integrating technology for more effective RFID implementations.
Wolfram serves on several international RFID initiative boards and is an advocate of international standardization of RFID technology.
Also honored by AIM is Tom Brady, the 2005 Dilling Award recipient. The award honors an individual whose career is dedicated to the development and growth of the automatic identification and data capture industry.
Serving as vice president, AIDC of the Uniform Code Council, Brady was honored most recently for his work in promoting advancements in supply chain applications for AIDC technology.
