Turret truck hits market

In its first foray into the three-wheel, very narrow aisle turret truck market, Crown has introduced the TSP 6000 with a tight turning radius and enhanced performance.

"A very large segment of very narrow aisle/turret truck users in 25- to 30-foot high facilities are searching for maximum cube utilization," says Joe Ritter, director of marketing and project management for the lift truck supplier. "Our four-wheel product has traditionally been too big to fit this need. We think the TSP 6000 will help fill that niche."

Ritter asserts that the truck is capable of adding 25% to 30% storage capacity to an existing operation through its throughput capabilities at taller heights. "Distribution centers don't have to expand their facility or lease outside storage due to the truck's vertical storage performance," he notes.

Enhancing stability is Crown's single mast lift system—an industry exclusive.
