MPI Customers to see lower cost, higher quality Gen 1 and Gen 2 RFID Labels
 
SEBRING, OH – December 15, 2005 – MPI Label Systems (www.mpilabels.com), a pioneer in the development of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and digital label production and application technology, has enhanced its relationship with Alien Technology, a leading provider of RFID products for global customers. MPI had previously received qualification from Alien allowing them to convert, test and direct ship Alien transponders. The new partnership will allow MPI to offer significantly lower prices on Gen 1 and Gen 2 RFID labels to match or surpass the cost savings offered by competitors.
 
In 2004, MPI became the third converter to receive qualification from Alien through its partner “Qualification Program.” MPI received qualification upon receiving the highest ever quality rating during Alien’s rigorous Squiggle and M tag inlay qualification testing and has now leveraged its outstanding quality and market success to become an “Alien Certified Label Converting Partner.”
