Collapsible containers

Two specially designed ROPAK containers feature internal storage space for dunnage or trays during return shipments. The 40423 measures 40 x 48 inches and is 42.3 inches tall when open. When collapsed, it offers three inches of internal storage space. The 4A338 has a 45 x 48 inch footprint and is 33 inches tall when open. When collapsed, it offers eight inches of internal storage space. In addition, both the 40423 and 4A338 feature non-sequential folding sidewalls. Because the sidewalls do not have to be collapsed in a specific order, users no longer have to travel around the container in a pre-determined sequence, saving time and increasing productivity.

Convey magnetized parts

Standard frame conveyors are modular, simplifying assembly. The line includes a variety of horizontal, incline and vertical magnetic conveyors that transport, feed, accumulate, elevate, orient and sequence ferrous and partially ferrous items. The conveyors move a range of parts and scrap up inclines as steep as 90 degrees. They provide positive, continuous control of conveyed materials to reduce labor costs, save floor space and increase productivity.

Lift truck built to reduce operator fatigue

The 3,000 to 6,000 pound "W" lift truck series offers a choice of operator compartments configured to reduce operator fatigue. They are equipped with a number of standard onboard programmable and diagnostic features right at the operator control handle. MOSFET transistor controls eliminate contactors and provide the operator with precise speed control. A built-in weight scale with display is standard on all and can be programmed to limit the maximum load that can be lifted before shutting the forklift down.

Print and apply RFID labels automatically

Model 5200rfid smart label printer-applicator is a system that prints, encodes, verifies and applies pressure-sensitive radio frequency identification (RFID) labels. In addition, if the operability of any RFID smart label is unable to be verified by the unit, the smart label is rejected and retained before application. Model 5200rfid offers a selection of print engines that uses thermal/thermal-transfer technology to produce smart labels with text, bar codes and graphics at 203 dots per inch. As labels are printed, digital information instantly is encoded on thin, ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID tags that are embedded in the smart label material.

Vertical Lift Module Holds 240 Drawers

A vertical lift module (VLM) combines the organizational benefits of modular drawer storage, the space savings of an automated storage and retrieval system and the power and convenience of a Windows XP-based controller. The vertical storage tower holds as many as 240 drawers, and includes an elevator mechanism that fetches drawers as needed and delivers them to a picking bay. Two picking bays can be placed on different levels, enabling handling of parts at both levels simultaneously.

Prevent excessive load lifts

The NPK NRE-1000 hoist features an automatic load limiter that prevents lifting of a weight exceeding the hoist's load rating. The load limiter constantly monitors the air pressure supplied to the air motor during lifting and automatically stops the hoist when attempting to lift in excess of the rated load.

Shrink bundle 30 items a minute

The SB-2000 shrink bundling system features a programmable logic controller, ConvectAir shrink tunnel and a wrapping module on a unitized frame less than 12 feet long. The unit shrink wraps up to 30 transport packs per minute with low energy consumption and consistent placement. It is ideal for any product shipped on corrugated trays or with film only, such as canned goods and beverages. The belt-fed SB-2000 accommodates products up to 24 inches wide x 12 inches high to any practical length. It uses a cradle-type film delivery system for convenient loading from the side without the need for mandrels. Positive film feed via nip roller allows flying splices from the end of one roll to the start of the next to virtually eliminate film waste.
