Improved inventory data management for retailers

Retail supply chain and operations software provider Aldata recently announced the availability of its Core Retail Suite. The suite offers one integrated database environment for master data management of information flow in all retail supply chain operations.

The release from Aldata, which has operated in Europe for 20 years, is aimed at headquarters to warehouses to stores in the United States.

"The key to retail success is to align core retail business processes, assets and flows of information and product and to strive for optimal balance among each of these critical elements," says Neil Thall, company CEO.

The package breaks Aldata's retail merchandising and supply chain offerings into a set of nine functional applications that can be implemented in parts. The suite includes integrated demand and replenishment optimization, store execution, warehouse management system and inventory optimization, item and price management, supply chain visibility, retail intelligence and analytics, and more.
