HighJump hires new president
By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 2/1/2007
HighJump Software ( www.highjumpsoftware.com) has hired Joel S. Levinson as the new president.
Levinson joins HighJump after more than 20 years with information technology services giant EDS, where he held various executive and management positions. Among those positions was the role of operations director for EDS's solutions consulting division, where supply chain initiatives were a key area of focus.
HighJump's longtime president Chris Heim retired last summer. Chief financial officer Joe Blauert then took the reins with the title chief operating officer. According to a statement, Blauert will remain in his position as COO "and continue to be an integral part of the company's ongoing success."
HighJump has operated as a subsidiary of 3M ( www.3m.com) since it was acquired in 2004.
