Full line of palletizing systems
A range of conventional palletizing systems capable of handling 15 to 100 cases per minute are available in a variety of configurations with low- and high-level infeed options. Other palletizing products include case elevators, pallet dispensers, pallet conveyors and pallet stackers, slip sheet dispensers, and complete palletizing systems. Features include bolt-together construction that allows the systems to be easily reconfigured or repositioned. Low-level, high-speed palletizer
With low-level construction, a high-speed palletizer includes an automatic grouping module that allows layer transfer during product accumulation. The module stages and stacks layers at the floor-level every 15 seconds. Products, packaged as cases, trays, totes, bags or bundles, may be repositioned to any required orientation during high-speed operation. Pre-programmed pallet configurations generate flexible, user-directed changeovers at the unit's intelligent control station that includes an 8-inch color touchscreen display. Palletizing robot for boxes and bags
Equipped with a new iRVision 2D vision sensor, the M-410iB/160 palletizing robot handles up to 100 kilograms at rates of 20 cycles per minute for boxes and 28 cycles per minute for bags. The robot is designed for precise, high-speed and heavy-payload case and bag palletizing and de-palletizing. It can also be used in layer handling, press tending, machine load/unload, and part transfer. Four-axis, modular construction and an electric servo-drive with an integrated mechanical and control unit maximize the robot's performance. Palletize 20 bags per minute
With a throughput of 20 bags per minute, the bag palletizer generates controlled motion to ensure smooth and dependable product flow while reducing the risk of product damage or worker injury in either single or multiple line systems. The system is designed for applications where consistent throughput and well-packed unit loads are required. Customized end of arm gripping tools are available to meet specific environment and product characteristics. Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., 315-676-3035, www.schneiderequip.com.
Modular system for pallet handling
Handling several package styles, the Val-U-Pal fully automated palletizing system provides pallet handling and automatic pallet dispensing in a small footprint. Priced competitively, the system is intended for small production line use. Preprogrammed with a variety of pattern configurations, the unit palletizes at speeds up to 20 cases per minute. An optional sheet dispenser is also available. vonGAL Corporation, 800-542-6570, www.vonGAL.com.
Handle more than 4,000 bags per hour
The PaletPac and RobotPac palletizer series handle more than 4,000 bags per hour and may be configured to handle a variety of capacities and picking patterns. Features include modular construction, flexible robotic handling, automatic depalletizers and pallet transport systems. Optional components for further configuration of the systems include empty and full pallet transport, slip and top sheet dispensers, and integrated full pallet wrapping or hood protection. Lower-speed, automated palletizing
For industries including food, beverage, consumer goods, and general manufacturing, the GS100 family of low-price, entry-level case palletizer reaches speeds up to 30 cases per minute. The unit may also be used in larger, multi-line operations where high-speed palletizing is not cost justified. The series features three models: the GS120 for manual pallet handling, the GS130 for semi-automated pallet handling, and the GS140 for fully automated pallet handling. All three models feature all-metric designs, pattern utility and layer-editing functions. FKI Logistex, 877-935-4564, www.fkilogistex.com.
Robotic palletizer
The 260 palletizing system uses a four-axis ABB–IRB 260 robot and can pick and place up to 15, 45-pound cases per minute. The 10 x 10-foot palletizing cell is preassembled and features a 36-inch scissor lift. With straight-through or over/under configuration, the system works with manual forklifts or automatic guided vehicles. The system is equipped with a Rockwell MicroLogix 1500 PLC and uses ABB's Pickmaster 5 software with a graphical interface. QComp Technologies, 920-757-0775, www.qcomptech.com.
Compact entry-level palletizer
The Stacker entry-level palletizer with a floor-level infeed uses a color touchscreen for easy setup and operation. Also included is the EasyStack load building interface. The system's compact design features a 10 x 12 foot footprint that includes the palletizer, pallet dispenser, and a full load exit. It runs at rates ranging from 10 to 20 cases per minute with options that include an automatic slip sheet inserter and layer clamping for different sized layer patterns.
