Process that order now or later?

While so many orders are pushed onto the DC floor to "see" what needs to get done, patience is actually a virtue. That's according to Jim Apple of The Progress Group in his latest Modern column. Apple says it's better to match the introduction of orders with available processing capacity. In some cases, it's best to hold off until the last hour to minimize the time an order sits in the system, making it more complete and accurate on a single pass.
