The company has outfitted a 53-foot trailer with its full line of dock levelers, vehicle restraints, doors, controls, seals and shelters. “We have onboard full-size, working equipment that can now be demonstrated to people at their locations,” explains Steve Sprunger, vice president of sales and marketing for 4Front Engineered Solutions.

In addition to demonstrating dock equipment, the trailer, which can be on the road 250 days a year, is a way to reinforce the importance of dock safety, says Sprunger. “People learn more when they are in front of the equipment. They become more aware of safety,” he adds.

“We’ve got 50 year old brands, and we needed a new way to present them,” adds Sprunger. He also notes that there has been so much consolidation among dock equipment suppliers that people may no longer be clear who supplies what. In fact, 4Front is the new name of what once was known as SPX Dock Products

If you are interested in having the trailer come to your location, visit www.dockleveler.com send an e-mail to trailer@4FrontES.com, or call 877-778-3625.
