A Tier III WMS from HighJump

With competition for the biggest warehouse management system (WMS) deals heating up, HighJump Software is introducing a solution for Tier III companies with revenues under $250 million.
The announcement came at HighJump’s annual user conference held last month in San Diego.
Dubbed Warehouse Advantage 45, or WA45, the product is designed to be up and running in 45 business days from start to finish.
While there are tradeoffs when it comes to functionality, the real difference between the new product and a traditional best-of-breed WMS is a clearly defined methodology to enable rapid implementation.
“We’ve created a playbook approach to implementation,” says Chris Goldsmith, international product manager. “The implementation team has a detailed task list for each day of the implementation, along with tools, templates and user guides targeted to specific users in the warehouse.”
The initial release will target wholesale distributors that don’t have sophisticated WMS requirements, says Goldsmith. “It’s designed for receiving pallets and cases in and shipping pallets and cases out.”
