The following companies received awards in the Material Handling System category:
- Gorbel: Gold award for its G-Force Q and iQ lifting devices
- Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A.: Silver award for its 8-Series lift trucks
- Rite-Hite: Bronze award for its FasTrax industrial door
In addition, the following companies received awards in the Manual Material Handling category:

- Eriez: Silver award for its ProSort metal sorter
- New Pig: Silver award for its pig drum filling shelf

The products were submitted for consideration by their manufacturers. A jury of industry experts then selected finalists, and Plant Engineering readers voted to determine the winners.
