As chairman of the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA), and on behalf of our officers and members, it is my privilege to welcome you to our industry’s largest event this year—NA 2008.NA 2008 will be four days of non-stop solutions for your manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operations. To make it easier for you to find the solutions you need, the NA 2008 show floor is organized into convenient solution-specific centers: manufacturing and assembly solutions; information technology (IT) solutions; fulfillment and delivery solutions; and a Knowledge Center featuring 70 educational sessions. Please visit the Knowledge Center Show Floor Theaters in the back of the show hall for session titles and times.
The NA 2008 Keynote will feature “Green to Gold” author Andrew Winston who will provide a blueprint for how forward-thinking companies can address critical environmental issues, from climate change to energy to water, and improve their manufacturing and supply chain performance, gain competitive advantage and increase profits.
The Keynote will be held on Tuesday morning at 8:45 in the I-X Center Ballroom.
MHIA is proud to sponsor NA 2008 and ProMat 2009 (January 12-15, 2009, in Chicago’s McCormick Place) and to represent the industry that provides the essential material handing and logistics solutions that make the supply chain work. For more information on MHIA programs, visit the MHIA booth near the front of the NA 2008 show floor entrance or visit www.mhia.org.
