Supply chain software suite

HighJump Software, a 3M company (Booth 832), released the latest version of its extended supply chain execution solutions.

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 4/23/2008 1:57:00 PM

The release combines extended functionality in the HighJump product suite and a high level of adaptability to help clients better manage material flows and expedite upgrades.

“Our clients require extensive functionality and a means to easily manage business processes, which change due to new approaches to manufacturing and distribution models,” said Chad Collins, vice president of global strategy. “HighJump Software’s key value proposition is our adaptable architecture and fast upgrades, which considerably drives down our clients’ total cost of ownership.”

Along with HighJump’s warehouse management system (WMS), the suite includes: Adaptability tools; billing management for 3PLs; labor management tools; a WMS for small and mid-sized businesses; and manufacturing execution to support lean inventory methodologies.

Customers can do their own upgrades without a paid consulting engagement. “For those clients that do elect to have a HighJump consultant involved, the services fees are typically around $10,000,” said Steve Banker, service director of supply chain management for the ARC Advisory Group. “That is a figure significantly below upgrade fees for other leading best-of-breed vendors.”
