Hygienic bulk containers

Designed to meet hygiene standards, Caliber intermediate bulk containers are injection molded of food grade polypropylene and have completely smooth surfaces. Collapsible, reusable and easy to clean, these containers are cost-effective for use throughout the entire handling process. They have a low tare weight to minimize transport costs, but their durable construction tolerates temperature ranges from 0° to 140°F. They are offered in three sizes: 270, 300 and 315 gallons.Buckhorn, 800-543-4454, www.buckhorninc.com.

AS/RS distribution container

The Stack-Nest distribution container is a hybrid container for advanced automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). Compatible with most types of cranes and conveyors, it performs like a stacking storage and picking tote within the warehouse, yet nests when empty like reusable distribution containers. The nearly straight walls maximize storage space, while nesting saves space within trailers for backhauls. With a 16 x 24 inch footprint, up to five containers per layer may be stacked on a standard 40 x 48 inch pallet. Rehrig Pacific Co., 800-546-4993, www.rehrigpacific.com.

Reduce freight costs

Hand-held folding containers are available in three footprints: 24 x 15, 12 x 15, and 24 x 22 inches. The containers are ideal for the handling, storage and transportation of automotive, white goods and industrial parts. The containers' high cube efficiency yields higher part density per container. Fully recyclable, the all-plastic containers are compatible with the standard AIAG 48 x 45 inch pallet footprint and can be mixed in any height and any size combination for a modular pallet load. Fiberglass enhances strength

The Plexton line includes fiberglass reinforced stackable and nestable containers, hoppers and trays. The containers store, move and ship heavy or dense parts and materials. Features include smooth surfaces and radiused angles for safe and easy handling. The containers withstand temperature from –60º F to 250º F. Options include dual-purpose covers that enable container stacking and may be used as trays. LEWISBins+, 877-975-3947, www.lewisbins.com.
