Twin wheel casters

The Series 1EA/2EA twin-wheel casters are specifically designed for light-duty equipment. The casters, with grey nylon body and dark grey polyurethane tires, are available in 2-1/2-, 3-, 4-, and 5- inch wheel sizes. The 2-1/2- and 3- inch casters have a 175 pound load capacity. Other capacities reach 330 pounds. The body of the casters is designed to prohibit debris from accumulating around the axle, allowing them to roll freely without maintenance. The 2-1/2- inch size is offered in rigid and swivel styles. The swivel is available with and without the patented Maxi-Lok brake. Series 1EA/2EA casters are available with a wide selection of mounting types including top plates, round and square expanding stems, threaded stems and grip-ring stems.

Quiet operation, resistance to debris

A new soft polyurethane tread, Polysoft, was formulated for quieter operation and greater resistance to foreign objects and debris. The new, livelier material reduces vibration in the wheel that results in a quieter ride and less wear and tear on the caster and cargo. Also, the new urethane has been designed to repel steel chips, nuts, bolts, and pins. This tread can be molded to the company's standard cast iron, forged steel, and/or aluminum centers in finished sizes ranging from 3-1/2 to 20 inches in diameter. The wheels can also be installed in the company's complete line of forged steel and cold forged industrial casters.

Leveling caster

Carrymaster leveling casters are designed for easy moving and level setting of machines and equipment. These swivel casters have an adjustment knob that lowers the pad and raises the wheel off the ground to prevent rolling. Models AC-50, 300, and 600 series feature a die-cast aluminum frame with steel seivel head. The AC-1000, 1300, and 1800 series have a cast ductile iron frame.

Caster with directional wheel lock and brake

The H Series swivel caster features a directional wheel lock and brake. When activated, a four-station plunger lock converts the swivel caster into a rigid caster for straight-line travel. The caster is also available with a foot brake and wheel lock for locking both the wheel and swivel, or the wheel brake only. Individual casters have a load capacity from 330 to 3,300 pounds. They are designed for towing heavy loads up to 10 miles/hour. Seven wheel diameters, from 4 to 12 inches, and a variety of tread widths from 1-1/2 to 2-3/8 inches are available. Caster heights range from 6-1/8 to 14 inches. A range of wheel types is also available.

For smooth handling

Vibration-dampening casters are offered as an option on the company's materials handling transport equipment. This line of casters is designed to reduce vibration in the transfer of sensitive electronic and other components during work-in-process. They feature 50A shore hardness, and are available in several styles, including rigid casters, swivel casters, and casters with brakes. Zinc, chrome, and stainless steel finish are available, in 5- and 6- inch diameters.

Heavy-duty caster

A super heavy-duty caster features a load capacity of 2,000 - 15,000 pounds for each caster. It provides the strength and precision needed for applications requiring high load capacities, including power drawn trailer usage. The hot forged SAE 1045 steel swivel sections are combined with precision machining throughout. The caster has a 7-inch main load bearing and a 1-1/4-inch tapered secondary load bearing.
