Apptricity’s field service software tracks vehicles, payloads

The Smartfleet Field Services system by Apptricity (Booth 4307) monitors and tracks service vehicles and their payloads. Running on any tablet or smartphone, the system extends the company’s Jetstream enterprise solutions for asset, inventory and warehouse management.

“Smartfleet provides real-time information about a vehicle to the dispatcher, the field service engineer and upper management,” explained Timothy Garcia, CEO. “It reduces truck rolls, and eliminates equipment losses.”

Field technicians equipped with Smartfleet can ensure that their vehicles are properly stocked prior departure. “It also wirelessly notifies users of new and updated work orders, and alerts customers about expected arrivals by text, e-mail or phone,” Garcia said.
