In a press conference on Monday, Atlatl Software (Booth 1881) demonstrated its new QuoteBooks end-to-end sales tool for small- to mid-market distributors and manufacturers.
“QuoteBooks is ideal for manufacturers of configurable, semi-customizable products sold through distributors,” said Matt Carter, co-founder and director of corporate development. “It combines manufacturing resource planning and enterprise resource planning into sales resource planning.”
The software’s sales interface acts like a game, Carter explained, allowing a distribution sales representative to create 3D models of what a product will look like while working with a customer. The components of the quote—including required parts, production time, unique specifications, revisions and more—are updated in real time at the point of manufacturing.
“This allows a company to monitor and evaluate what’s happening with their outstanding quotes, as well as generate up-to-date forecasting information,” he said.
