Dematic, supplier of logistics systems for the factory, warehouse, and distribution center, has announced that it has expanded its network of regional engineering offices to provide increased access and enhanced support to existing and potential users of automated material handling systems in North America. The new locations added to the Dematic existing comprehensive network include: Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; and Detroit, MI.
John K. Baysore, Dematic President and CEO stated, “Dematic is committed to supporting our customers as they strive for enhanced operational performance with automated technologies. We will continue to expand our geographical network to further our mission of being located near our customers, providing the service and support they require in an immediate manner.” Baysore continued, “In addition to our new offices, Dematic has also added additional service capabilities to support automated material handling system users in the Florida and Southeastern region. Dematic has Customer Service technical support staff located at approximately 55 geographical locations throughout North America to provide technical and maintenance support for all makes and models of automated systems including our competitor’s equipment. Our Customer Service staff is in place to accommodate the requirements of the more than 2,000 Dematic project sites located throughout North America.”
Regional presence allows Dematic to understand local issues and obtain regional supply chain knowledge relevant for engineering system solutions. Furthermore, local support allows efficient access to user sites for application review, analysis, solution development and ongoing support after project implementation. Dematic has regional engineering offices and technical support in 20 countries around the world allowing Dematic to support North American businesses that have or plan to have operations in other countries around the world.
